FRS FOG-IA is a PFAS-free, water-based agent that soaks into cellulose-based fibres — cotton, linen and blended fabrics — and dries permanently within the fibre. Treated field uniforms, load-bearing gear, firefighter and rescuer work uniforms, tarpaulins and equipment covers become self-extinguishing: they resist ignition from sparks, tracer rounds and hot fragments, and stop burning the moment the flame is removed. The protection lasts for the service life of the item and can be renewed after intensive washing.
Also protects cardboard, paper & packaging
The same agent is the core impregnation for absorbent materials: cardboard, paper and packaging treated with FRS FOG-IA become non-flammable and self-extinguishing for fire-safe storage and transport, with a rodent-repellent side benefit. Application parameters and certification — EN ISO 11612, EN 469, EN ISO 14116, ISO 15384 and applicable military standards — are agreed per material before series treatment. For outer layers only; not for garments in prolonged skin contact.
