Communications & Electronics

Comms shelters, server and radio racks, radar and EW cabinets hold mission-critical electronics in sealed, often unmanned spaces. Fipron Canarias suppresses a fire inside the enclosure — without power, water or a detector loop.

The threat

Electronics fires start small and hidden — an overheating power supply, an arcing connector, a failing battery inside a rack or cabinet. In a sealed shelter or an unmanned relay the fire can grow undetected, and a water or deluge response destroys the very equipment it is meant to save.

The Fipron Canarias solution

The Aerosol Generator delivers total-flood, condensed-aerosol suppression across a shelter or equipment room — interrupting combustion chemically without displacing oxygen, without overpressure and without wiring or detectors. For protection inside individual racks, radar and EW cabinets, self-activating microcapsule devices (Fipron Sticker and Fipron Cord) sit within the enclosure and release agent the moment temperature climbs at the source.

Deployment

  • Total-flood aerosol in comms shelters, server and equipment rooms
  • In-cabinet microcapsule protection for racks, radar and EW enclosures
  • Self-activating — no power, wiring or detectors, at forward and unmanned sites
Why it fits

Protection that leaves the electronics intact

Condensed aerosol and microcapsule suppression act on the chemistry of the fire, not by flooding the space — so a fire is knocked down inside the cabinet or room without the collateral damage of water. The same certified products protect data centres and critical infrastructure today.
